Dr. Ruth Markovic graduated from Melbourne, Australia after a six year course with additional training in surgical emergencies, and ear, nose and throat surgery. 
She also did two years of paediatric training. 

She moved to Windsor Ontario, Canada where she assisted in general, orthopaedic and brain surgery one day a week for many years while she conducted her general practice. 
She also worked as an emergency physician on weekends, and was on many hospital committees, including being the chairman of the Ethics and Credentials Committee of Metropolitan General Hospital in Windsor.
Dr. Markovic has always attended many dermatological conferences for years and has now exclusively devoted herself to cosmetic medicine for the past 12 years.
She is now the medical director of Cygnus and uses the latest state of the art lasers and body contouring technology, to provide the clients with the latest in anti-aging and rejuvenation therapy.
